KEEP IN THE FAITH

Questa canzone sembra riflettere bene il senso di confusione e di smarrimento che caratterizza l’uomo moderno. Colui che desidera essere vivo sente che deve lottare per non lasciarsi assorbire dalla negatività, dalla rinuncia alla vita; sente che nonostante tutto non deve rinunciare a credere in una risposta. Mantenere la fede: cioè mantenere uno sguardo vero sulla realtà, affermare l’essere (amore) anziché negarlo (odio).
Come diceva Teilhard de Chardin: “Il pericolo maggiore che possa temere l’umanità non è una catastrofe che venga dal di fuori, non è né la fame né la peste, è invece quella malattia spirituale. la più terribile, perché il più direttamente umano dei flagelli, che è la perdita del gusto di vivere”[1].

E' difficile con il mondo davanti agli occhi cercare di resistere, cercare di resistere.
